Position Summary

Grassy Creek, LLC is seeking an Asset & Development Assistant to provide administrative support in a well organized and timely manner regarding asset development at our Chilean properties. This role will act as the point of contact between the Asset & Development Team and internal/external client, maintaining project schedules and communicating regularly with the team regarding project and property needs. This position requires 3+ years previous experience in an administrative role, fluency in English and Spanish, and must live in close proximity to Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, or be willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite, and exemplary planning and time management skills. Roles and Responsibilities


Position Purpose

  • The Asset & Development Assistant will provide administrative support in a well organized and timely manner and will work on a variety of tasks regarding asset development at our Chilean properties.


Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Act as the point of contact between the Asset & Development Team and internal and external clients.

  • Route correspondence to Asset & Development Team and as needed.

  • Handle requests and queries appropriate.

  • Maintain project schedules and communicate regularly with team as related to project and property needs.

  • Maintain electronic and physical files in PPM (proprietary software), Dropbox and others as needed.

  • Assist Asset & Development Team in developing, inputting, and tracking capex budgets.

  • Oversee execution of licenses, contracts, and agreements including, but not limited to, sub-contractors, purchase agreements, architects and government agency permits.

  • Work with team to maintain project timelines and related schedules using project management software (Smartsheets and Google Sheets) and PPM (proprietary software).

  • Assist with development and approval presentations.

  • Perform minor accounting and bookkeeping duties, including correspondence with vendors, processing invoices, and assisting with payments.

  • Assist with procurement of materials for projects and coordination of delivery and pick-ups.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role.

  • Must live within close proximity to Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, or be willing to relocate.

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, or in a related field.

  • Previous experience in construction, property management, accounting and/or finance.

  • Previous experience working in a project management role and managing multiple projects at the same time.

  • Valid Chilean driver’s license.


Work Requirements

  • Ability to travel to domestic locations: 10 - 20%

  • May require weekend and non-business hour meetings or site visits.

  • Must be able to life 50+ pounds.
