Colorado GM
Eleven is seeking a full time Colorado GM to manage hospitality operations in Crested Butte, Colorado.  This position will manage all hospitality operations at Scarp Ridge Lodge, Sopris House, Axtel, Taylor River Lodge, and Public House.  The ideal candidate will Improve profit margins through careful analysis of Colorado product offerings and associated operational costs, inspire the lodging and hospitality team to execute the Eleven vision, exceed guest expectations, and operate a financially sound operation.
The Colorado GM must encourage an environment of exceptional collaboration within and across departments, work to further the Eleven product by questioning operational norms, proposing solutions, and striving to innovate and streamline the Eleven operation in Colorado

  • Assist whenever necessary with Eleven operations in person or from afar
  • Collaborate with Irwin Guides, Grassy Creek, risk management, human resources, business systems, culinary, sales, marketing and Jetson Systems to be sure that Eleven operations run smoothly  
  • Create comprehensive staffing plans and coordinate hiring processes with support from human resource and the lodge managers to Guide the creation and implementation process for all operational standards.  This includes reviewing current standards, updating standards in preparation for each season, and creating new standards whenever necessary
  • Work with the lodge managers to maintain and utilize checklists in PLM that support all standard
  • Check staff performance in PLM daily by reviewing checklist engagement and completion.  Support the team in navigating technical difficulties with PLM and the Eleven AM app
  • Improve culinary operations through staff training
  • Manage maintenance needs at all properties and ensure detailed care for all infrastructure – buildings, vehicles, furnishings, and equipment
  • Orchestrate seasonal trainings, season opening, closing, and training dates 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to discuss upcoming bookings, sales questions, group assignments, and to share feedback 
  • Assist in creating the annual budget and in reviewing monthly PNL reports  
  • Approve all major expenses 
  • Manage seasonal group assignments  
  • Ensure that Experience Managers are completing all pre-arrival, during, and post-trip tasks for guest stays
  • Collaborate with the Irwin Guides team to ensure an unparalleled guest experience Any other duties that may become necessary



  • Five years of management and leadership experience
  • Customer service and hospitality oriented 
  • Budget management skills
  • Clearly communicates with the with all team members, the management team, and partners on other teams
  • Experience resolving internal and external conflicts 
  • Able to work well on a team with different personalities 
  • High ethical standards
  • Strong operational skills in all Microsoft systems.
  • Special Position Requirements:
  • Travel between The Irwin Building, Scarp Ridge Lodge, Taylor River Lodge, and other locations as necessary
  • Extended workdays and work weeks when necessary  


  • Extremely effective time management skills 
  • Highly organized
  • Spanish speaker
  • Experience with Dropbox, Opera, Micros, Yellowdog, SalesForce, and with CRM systems

Work Requirements:

  • The ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • The ability to lift 25 pounds
  • A valid driver’s license 
  • Satisfactory background check that qualifies under adjudication terms
