Position Summary
Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented housekeeper to join the team. This role is responsible for cleaning the guest rooms and common areas, laundry and assisting with breakfast service. The housekeeper will work closely with lodge staff, experience managers and other members of the housekeeping team to provide a high quality guest experience. This position requires 1+ years experience working in high end accommodation along with the ability to work well in a team and adapt to an ever-changing environment. This is a full-time, seasonal position starting at $20.50 CAD, plus 4% vacation pay, benefits, tip pool, pro deals and discounts. The Winter season runs December through April.
Roles and Responsibilities
Position Purpose
To assist the Lodge Manager with cleaning and upkeep of rooms and common areas, ensuring a spotless environment for guests, and to uphold Eleven’s hospitality standards through guest facing and non guest facing duties.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Clean and upkeep all guest rooms to a high standard, including:
dust, vacuum and wipe surfaces using cleaning chemicals.
clean bathrooms and toilets daily.
tidy guest rooms, incl. guest clothing and amenities.
reset rooms to standard, including swapping out and re-folding linen and towels.
Cleaning of common areas and the restaurant, including:
sauna cleaning and upkeep.
public restrooms daily clean.
massage rooms daily clean and restock.
lobby and 3rd floor lounge clean.
Breakfast service support, including:
early morning breakfast support shifts will require the housekeeper to be in front of guests.
clearing dishes.
refilling buffet.
making teas and coffee.
assembling field lunches.
Follow cleaning processes and apply best practices to work in an efficient manner, including:
report any hazards.
diligently use and tick off the internal checklists.
report any maintenance issues to the maintenance technician.
Process laundry for guest rooms and restaurant linen, including:
washing, drying, folding.
stain treatment.
ironing.
Keep storage areas well organized and fully stocked, including:
inventory.
reorder requests if needed.
Communicate clearly with other housekeepers, Lodge Manager and other team members at the lodge and restaurant, including:
report any items that are running low, i.e. cleaning products, linen, room amenities like soaps, candles etc.
report all maintenance issues to the Maintenance Technician via the Eleven property management app.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
1+ years experience working in high end accommodation

Strong understanding of the housekeeping needs of a hospitality company.

Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to roll with changes and needs of a quickly growing and expanding company.
Basic computer capabilities to work with online check lists.

Work Requirements
Ability to lift 23+ kilograms.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends.
