Position Summary
Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team. This role is responsible for leading the housekeeping team in all relevant duties, managing inventory and assisting with cleaning of guest rooms and common areas. The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with the housekeeping team and lodge manager to provide a high quality guest experience. This position requires 2+ years experience working in high end accommodation along with the ability to work well in a team and adapt to an ever-changing environment. This is a full-time, seasonal position starting at $23 CAD/hour plus tip pool and 4% vacation pay. The Winter season runs December through April.
Roles and Responsibilities
Position Purpose
The Housekeeping Supervisor position is primarily non-guest facing and plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness throughout the lodge. Supporting the Lodge Manager, this position is crucial to ensuring the housekeeping team effectively cleans and upkeeps all rooms and common areas, creating a spotless environment for guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor is essential to the smooth operation of the Eleven Hospitality product, requiring flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to working weekends as needed.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Direct the housekeeping team, including:
Ensure all standards are being met at all times.
Plan each day efficiently by delegating tasks.
Manage disputes within the housekeeping team.
Perform room checks after stayover rooms have been cleaned.
Perform room checks prior to guests checking in.
Clean and upkeep all guest rooms to a high standard, including:
Dust, vacuum and wipe surfaces using cleaning chemicals.
Clean bathrooms and toilets daily.
Tidy guest rooms, incl. guest clothing and amenities.
Reset rooms to standard, incl. swapping out and re-folding linen and towels.
- Cleaning of common areas, including:
Restaurant cleaning.
Sauna cleaning and upkeep.
Public restrooms daily clean.
Massage rooms daily clean and restock.
Lobby and 3rd floor lounge clean.
- Follow cleaning processes and apply best practices to work in an efficient manner, including:
Report any hazards.
Diligently use and tick off of the internal checklists.
Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance technician.
- Process laundry for guest rooms and restaurant linen, including:
Washing, drying, folding.
Stain treatment.
Ironing.
- Keep storage areas well organized and fully stocked, including:
Monthly inventory.
Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and reorder as needed.
Communicate clearly with the housekeepers, Lodge Manager and other team members at the lodge and restaurant
Job requirements
Qualifications
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certified or willing to acquire
2+ years experience housekeeping for high end accommodations
Special Position Requirements
Strong understanding of the housekeeping needs of a luxury hospitality establishment.
Ability to deal with disputes professionally and diplomatically.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to roll with changes and needs of a quickly growing and expanding company.
Basic computer capabilities to work with online check lists.

Work Requirements
