It is also the home of the Quartermaster Eatery, a fine dining establishment that uses seasonal ingredients from local farms, boutique ranches and wild, sustainable fisheries, to craft exquisite and unique dishes that change with the seasons. Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is looking for a housekeeper to join their fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Position Summary

Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is seeking an energetic and guest service oriented Lodge Staff to join the team. This role is responsible for breakfast and apres service, light housekeeping and cleaning duties and catering to individual guest needs. The lodge staff will work closely with the Experience Managers and the guide team to provide a high quality guest experience. This position requires 1+ years experience working in hospitality along with the ability to work well in a team and adapt to an ever-changing environment. This position also requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving history, and ability to be insured to transport guests. This is a full-time, seasonal position starting at $21.50 CAD, plus 4% vacation pay, benefits, tip pool, pro deals and discounts. The season runs December through March. 



Roles and Responsibilities


Position Purpose

  • To assist with guest logistics, such as breakfast and apres service, evening room turn-downs, and occasional bartending, as well as tasks like snow shoveling or driving as needed, and uphold Eleven hospitality standards through guest facing and non guest facing duties.


Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Greet and interact with guests throughout the hotel.

  • Serve a la carte breakfast, including:

    • Set up breakfast buffet.

    • Take orders.

    • Serve food and drinks.

    • Clear tables.

    • Refill buffet.

    • Breakfast clean-up and restock, incl. washing dishes etc.

  • Serve apres with creative set-ups and work hand-in-hand with the Experience Manager and the kitchen team to create fun and interactive experiences in different settings and with different themes, including:

    • Prepare the apres area and set the vibe, occasionally this will be off-site in cold temperatures.

    • Arrange timing and presentation of food service with the kitchen.

    • Serve and/or arrange drinks for guests from the bar.

    • Clean up of all apres items.

  • Work with the Experience, housekeeping, guide and restaurant teams, where needed, to prepare property for guest return and/or arrival.

  • Perform turndown service, including:

    • Light housekeeping.

    • Resetting of the room for return of the guest after dinner.

    • Vibe creation.

  • Transportation, including:

    • Provide local and airport transportation for guests.

    • Clean and detail company vehicles.

  • Daily duties, including:

    • Snow shoveling in winter.

    • Re-stock and inventory of minibars in rooms and common areas.

    • Assist with general errands (i.e. grocery shopping, special guest requests, etc.).

    • Clean, organize and prepare all heli lunch items for the following day.

    • Shut down of wellness and common areas.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience working in hospitality.

  • BC Serving It Right certification.

  • Driver’s license and ability to be insured to transport guests.


Special Position Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • Previous experience in hospitality/guest-facing environments.

  • Previous serving experience preferred.

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
