Position Summary

Eleven is seeking a flexible and driven Skiing Sales Manager to manage specific seasonal and specialized products and be considered the expert in their destinations, while holding responsibility for meeting and/or exceeding established revenue budgets. This position will create a strategy action plan for each assigned product, growing existing industry accounts and generating new business to maximize revenue and market share. This position will sell to both direct and indirect clients, and coordinate with the local operating team, as well as support product development and marketing. This position requires 5+ years of sales experience in the luxury travel industry and/or adventure sales, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and strong networking and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel Management, Marketing, or Communications. This full time, year round, benefited position starts at $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, plus incentives up to 30% of base, depending on experience and qualifications. 


Roles and Responsibilities


Position Purpose

  • Manage specific seasonal and specialized products and be considered the expert in their destinations, while holding responsibility for meeting and/or exceeding established revenue budgets.

Product Assignments (subject to change):

  • Deplar Farm, Iceland (Heli-Ski Season).

  • Eleven Revelstoke Lodge, Canada (Heli-Ski Season).

  • Rio Palena Lodge, Chile (Heli-Ski Season).

  • Winterlake Lodge, Alaska (Heli-Ski Season, launching Winter 2026).

  • Specialized Offerings (i.e. Ski to Sea) as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management:
    • Manage both proactive and reactive sales efforts for assigned seasonal products and accounts to meet or exceed annual targets.

    • Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation to closing deals with new and repeat guests, including leisure and group travel producers, travel management accounts, travel advisors, consortiums, and wholesalers.

    • Ensure thorough preparation of proposals and contracts, and manage the closing of sales, deposit collection, etc.

  • Account Development:
    • Solicit new accounts and nurture existing ones through phone outreach, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communications.

    • Strengthen relationships with clients and properties associated with assigned products to drive revenue growth.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and execute sales action plans for each assigned product and account, incorporating both proactive and reactive tactics.

    • Stay informed about market trends, competition, and customer preferences to ensure effective strategy implementation.

  • Networking and Representation:
    • Cultivate a strong network within the skiing industry, including relationships with guides and competitors, and represent Eleven professionally at community and industry events, trade shows, and road shows to promote assigned products and the broader Eleven brand.

  • Familiarization Trips:
    • Coordinate and host trips and activities for key partners to deepen both your and their understanding of the properties, products, and surrounding areas.

    • Foster strong relationships with attendees, guides, and on-site staff to maximize engagement and future sales collaboration.

  • Internal Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create targeted sales and marketing collateral, promotions, and campaigns for ski products.

    • Keep sales, operations, and reservations teams informed on assigned products and accounts, and ensure they are trained on the latest offerings.

  • CRM, Reservations System and Reporting:
    • Manage all assigned accounts, leads and opportunities within Salesforce and Opera, adhering to standard operating procedures.

    • Prepare insightful weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales performance and opportunities as required.

  • Cross-Selling and Lead Management:
    • Learn and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Eleven products to facilitate cross-selling and contribute to team coverage.

    • Collaborate with sales counterparts to relay leads, communicate need period dates, and respond promptly to all incoming leads.

  • Sales Meetings and Training:
    • Actively participate in scheduled sales meetings, training sessions, and other strategy-related meetings to ensure alignment and continuous improvement in sales tactics.

  • Customer Engagement:
    • Deliver exceptional service to Eleven’s customers and travel partners through prompt and consistent communication, relationship building, and embodying the brand.

    • Be readily available to manage phone inquiries (both direct and main line) and respond swiftly to leads and requests, as timely engagement is essential for elevating the guest experience and driving sales.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience within the skiing, luxury travel, and adventure industry.

  • Willing to work specifically to meet owner, guest, or company needs – early mornings and late evenings, and weekends as required.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office & Google applications.

  • Strong email management and prioritization skills.

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of international degree in Hotel Management, Marketing or Communication.

  • Experience with group sales.

  • Advanced ski and snowboard expertise, including experience with powder skiing, backcountry, snowcat, or previous heli-skiing as a guest or employee.

  • Extensive knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, weather, and snow conditions, with the ability to communicate this information clearly to clients.
